Keep Engaged

Crowd at After Hours

While Washburn University responds to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Washburn University Alumni Association and Foundation is working with the University to make sure we continue to take care of students as they finish the semester.

Last updated: 4/1/20
Due to the "safer in place" order in Shawnee County and throughout Kansas, the Alumni Association and Foundation offices are closed starting 3/26/20. However, the staff is still working at home. You can call the main number at 785.670.4483 or email us at if you have any questions. Read more about the University response.

Washburn students are experiencing a semester unlike any other. Join the Washburn Alumni Association and Foundation in supporting Washburn students and graduating seniors by sharing an inspiring story, note or quote to encourage them to finish the semester strong! Responses can be submitted by emailing, filling out the form, or writing or recording a post on social media using #IchabodsInspire. Make sure your post is public.

As some students may lose hours at their off-campus jobs or lose their jobs during difficult economic times, they will run into financial emergencies. If you would like to help students, you can donate to Ichabods Moving Forward, an organization that operates under the guidance of Washburn University Alumni Association and Foundation and grants emergency aid to students so they can stay in school.
